The blog of truth!

It comes to no surprise that the world today is consumed by the blogger. I have now fallen prey to the world of blogging as it is the dawn of a new era in my life. But where to begin. Many bloggers tend to focus on a certain theme of writing or a chosen subject. My intentions for this blog is not alone to educate and stimulate the reader but to allow the working of the Holy Spirit to illuminate what is placed upon my heart and typed on this computer.

When you read a blog one of the attractiveness it should possess is a theme. This can range from a broad number of ideas and products. What I see fit is to discuss the reality of life and the complexities of living in a world that reasons to know the truth. I have spent some time searching for the answers of life and at this venture of my life, truth can only be found in Jesus the Christ.

Now I have probably scared half of you with the thought of, “not another Christian blog!” I assure you that in order to have the truth, one must search to the ends of the earth and then search some more for truth. John 14:6 states, “I am the way, the truth, and the light.” My friend this is not my words but the words of a man who for some is just a mere prophet. Some say he is the greatest man to live on this earth but others are not so convinced.

I have found truth in discovering the answer to life’s beckoning question, “Is there really a God and if there is why does He allow bad things to happen to good people?” My prayer is that through this blog we can come together and grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and not just share ideas and thoughts but experience the true meaning of what is the truth. I end this first post of many with the words from the apostle Paul to young Timothy.

2 Timothy 2:14-15

14 Keep reminding God’s people of these things. Warn them before God against quarreling about words; it is of no value, and only ruins those who listen.  15Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.
